Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to the details you give us through this website. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Nathan Byrom, trading as 34 Automation (34 Automation) is the controller of your personal data. Address: 11 Lindale, Rugby, CV21 1PH. Email: [email protected].

What we collect

  • Enquiry form: your name, email and message, plus your company, phone number and the services you tick if you choose to add them.
  • Spam check: when you send the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks your browser to confirm you're a person. It uses technical signals such as your IP address and does not set tracking cookies.
  • Brand Builder free preview: if you send your answers from the free preview, we receive your name, email and the answers you chose to send.
  • Client area: if we send you a personal Brand Builder link, we store the answers and images you add there, the date you open and send it, and a random identifier for the device you first open it on.
  • Visit statistics: we count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify you.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and talk about work you've asked about. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before any contract.
  • To deliver Brand Builder work you've asked us to do. Our lawful basis is the contract, or the steps before it.
  • To keep the site and the form free of spam and abuse. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.

We don't sell your details, we don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't use them for automated decisions about you.

Who handles it for us

  • Cloudflare: hosts this website, runs the spam check and the visit statistics.
  • Resend: delivers the enquiry email to us and the acknowledgement to you.
  • IONOS: hosts our email inbox.
  • Supabase: stores Brand Builder answers on servers in London.
  • FormSubmit: forwards answers from the free Brand Builder preview to our inbox.

Some of these companies are based in the United States, so your data may be handled there. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries we don't take further are deleted after 24 months. If we work together, we keep project records for six years after the work ends, for tax and accounting reasons. Brand Builder answers are deleted 12 months after the project closes, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it or send it to you in a portable format. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Cookies

This site doesn't set cookies. The Brand Builder saves your progress in your own browser so you don't lose work. That storage is needed for the tool to do its job and stays on your device.
